Activity points
You will get activity points for every activity registered. Minutes in activity x Extertion = activity points
Multiple for extertion is:
- Easy = 1
- Easy + = 1.5
- Moderate = 2
- Moderate + = 2.5
- Hard = 3
You can also get social bonus points:
When you add someone from your network to your activity and they accept, you both will get social bonus points for that activity. Social bonus points are calculated like this:
- Your activity points x 1,2 = social bonus points

Rewards can be in 4 different stages:
Locked = You are not able to unlock this reward
Unlocked = You can unlock this reward
Open = you can activate this reward
Activated = you have activated the reward
Rewards can be unlocked either by:
- Completing a specific challenge linked to the reward (without no additional requirements)
- Completing a specific challenge linked to the reward as well as having a certain number of points available to spend
- Completing a specific challenge linked to the reward and being drawn in a lottery
- Completing a specific challenge linked to the reward and being one of the X first that completes it
- Having enough available points to spend and there is no specific challenge linked to it
Either you connect to your device when you register as a new user or you can connect later. If you choose to do it later, you will have to go to your profile page à Settings à wearables.
When you have chosen your preferred device you will be prompted to a page where you need to log in to i.e. your garmin profile.
We currently support the following devices:
Garmin, Polar, IOS Health and Fitbit. As well as we support linking of your Strava account.
If you have connected a device to your Frami profile, please check:
- If the activity is uploaded in your respective wearable app
- If you have turned on the connection in Frami Profile page -> Settings -> Wearables
- Check in your wearable app (i.e Garmin Connect) that the connection is still turned on for Frami application
Move to your profile page -> Settings -> My Preferences -> Privacy Controls
There you will have the options to set your profile as either Global, Public or Private
Public: Your profile is visible for anyone. Only users that are in same community/ies as you (either private or public) can directly follow you. Users that are not in the same community/ies (either private or public) can see your information but not follow you without requesting to do so.
Private: Your profile is searchable, but nobody can see your information, unless they have requested to follow you and you have accepted.
Closed: Your profile is searchable, but not possible to see any information other than the name provided and picture. Not possible to follow you or request to follow you.
Every activity you register manually or that is registered from your connected device can be hidden. By simply clicking on the activity and the “eye” on the activity, that specific activity will be hidden for everyone.
Other than that, you can navigate to your profile page -> Settings-> My Preferences -> Privacy Controls
There you will have the options to set your activities to either Public, Private or closed.
Public: All users that follows you or are part of the same community/communities as you will see your activities. Your activities will be visible on news feed for your followers. However, challenges, leaderboards and other features for both followers and users that does not follow you.
Private: Only your followers will be able to see your activities.
Closed: Only you can see your own activities
Through the registration process you can add your “work email”.
If you do so, it will be sent a verification email to that work email of yours, where you will have to click on the button “Verify”. When that is done and it exist a closed community for your Employer in the Frami application, you will automatically be enrolled.
If your employer does not have a closed community created, you will automatically be added to that community when it’s created at a later stage.
Moreover, if you did not add “work email” through the registration process you can go to Profile page -> Settings -> Contact info.
On that page you can add your work email and see whether or not we have registered that it is verified.
If your activity is registered through the connected wearable, click into the activity and simply “add participants”. Choose the respective users that you were active with, and they will receive a request to accept or reject. When the user has accepted, he/she will be shown as a participant on the activity. Furthermore, you and the participant will be given social bonus points.
When you register a manual activity, you can add participant in the same create screen. If not, you can also choose to add participants later by clicking into the activity and add.
Click on the activity and the trash can icon. When you delete the activity, your points will also be withdrawn.

If you haven’t used any of the social login providers and registered with password and email, you can change the password by go to profile page ->Log out
Then you will have to “log-In” again and click on the “forgot password” option.
Go to profile page -> Settings -> My Preferences -> Delete account
Frami works on all IOS and Android smart phones.
Web is currently not supported.

No. In the start-up phase we will help you to set up initiatives that runs through a set period of time, so that you don’t have to go in and create new challenges or events all the time.
Also, onboarding of new employees doesn’t require anything other than giving the new employee a link to downloading the app. As long as he/she has a valid email with your company domain and verifies through registration process, they will be enrolled.
